Step 1: Choose the right Realtor and follow their advice.

Are you full time? How long have you been in the business? How many homes have you sold in the last year? What area do you specialize in? You can sell your home without a Realtor, but if you want the largest returns, ALWAYS use a trusted Realtor.

 

Step 2: Price your home correctly

If priced correctly and marketed correctly, you should receive multiple offers within the first week. If not, your home can sit on the market and eventually become stale. Potential buyers won’t want to see it and may wonder ‘what’s wrong with is?’ instead of wondering ‘what’s right?’ If you do receive any offers, you’ll find that they are often times significantly below your asking price. Step 3: Make sure your home is always presentable

Step 4: Make your home available for showings

This means your Realtors website and portals like Zillow and Redfin are vitally important to the purchasing process. Make sure your Realtor is using well lit, high grade, professional images to market your home. Most buyers fall in love online, and have that feeling confirmed once they are inside your home. If they don’t like what they see online, very few will make the journey to see it in real life.
