Saugus is home to the largest recreational park in the Santa Clarita Valley. Central park hosts soccer games, baseball games, football practices, basketball ultimate Frisbee as well as the largest dog park in the valley, affectionately known as Central Bark. The Saugus Café on San Fernando road was established in 1887 and is among the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles County. Saugus High School is part of the William S. Hart Union School District and is one of many elementary, junior high and high schools in the area. Do you like live music? Aside from being an amazing park, the concert series at Saugus attracts people from all over the Santa Clarita Valley. Launch chairs, picnic baskets and a great time are consistently had by all.
