Based on high recommendations from clients, Cori was asked to join Veterans United as a liaison Agent to help veterans and active military families to find a home. Cori has over five years of experience working with military members including those who choose to relocate from out of state. Chris also works as a partner agent with Veterans United and Redfin.
Cori is a National Association of Realtors Green Designee. With today’s changing needs of families who are conscious of energy consumption, environmentally friendly materials, and healthier living environments, Cori assists clients in meeting those needs.
Team Silva was inspired many years ago by a girl and a boy who admired beautiful homes, pride of ownership, safe neighborhoods, and a community to call home.
Cori was born and raised in The San Fernando Valley. Her parents made the decision to move to the safe and family oriented Santa Clarita Valley. Cori enjoyed great education in Santa Clarita and later on majored in accounting and marketing with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing at CalState Northridge. She shaped her career in banking where she excelled in management and finance. Real Estate has always been a dream for Cori, and with the right opportunity at her fingertips, she decided to take the chance and make her dream come true.
Since a very young age, Chris believed that owning a home is a sign of success and prosperity. At the tender age of 19, Chris received a small settlement from a car accident and decided to use it to purchase a condo for his mother. Although the transaction was flawed and dishonest on the selling agent’s side, Chis was very pleased to see his family live in a better environment and the satisfaction inspired him to ultimately pursue Real Estate. Chris felt such joy helping his family and being someone that can be depended on, that he wanted to continue helping other families experience the same feeling. Since then, Chris strengthened his career to excel in sales and negotiating transactions that were difficult to close. He later moved on to be hired by one of the top fortune 500 companies transacting Real Estate Loans.
Cori & Chris purchased their first home together at only 22 years old. The transaction was overwhelming. Cori never forgets the experience she had, and, therefore, takes pride in truly making her clients feel comfortable and confident when purchasing or selling their home. Team Silva understand how it feels to be vulnerable and skeptical as a buyer, seller, or borrower. No one wants to be treated unfairly. A realtor/loan consultant is expected to put their client’s interest ahead of their own. That is precisely how they conduct business: “Treat others as you would want to be treated”.
Cori & Chris thrive personally in this business since they enjoy the social aspect of meeting new people and creating new friendships. For many years, they worked as separate entities though in 2013 they decided to join forces to combine their talents and expertise.
