Newhall is the southernmost and oldest community in the Santa Clarita Valley. Named after historic and accomplished businessman Henry Newhall, the history of the city is everywhere around you. Newhall is filled with culture, history and entertainment. Newhall has recently built a new 30,000 square foot state of the art library with impressive free technical and academic resources. The city itself has an old time feel, but it’s also bustling with a wide variety of community events. Old Town Newhall has emerged as a legitimate destination for families in the daytime and couples in the evening. Pumpkin Patches, Christmas trees, block parties, almost every weekend something is happening for residents to enjoy. If you hear drums and cheers on a Friday night, you are probably hearing the Hart High School football team, they are kind of a big deal out here.
